Finally upgraded to Galileo 7.1

I know im a little late hehe.. but i finally upgraded to 7.1! I’ve been trying it out for about 3 weeks now and i ABSOLUTELY LOVE it!  I was previously on Edison 1.5.1 which was cool but NEVER like 7.1

This has been a big change for me, I went from not being able to watch videos unless i was using Firefox (Win) which still looked kindda crappy  to being  able to watch anything i want or view any page that requires flash!! =D  I love the fact that now i can use Amarok and last.fm without having any issues like i did before when i was on 1.5. One of my favorites so far is being able to use the “street view” option on google maps hahaha… I know its silly but it is quite entertaining. The only thing that would make pc-bsd absolutely perfect would be if i could install the itunes app., that’s really the only reason i keep going back to windows, i have an iphone so i kindda need it for that.

Here’s a quick snap shot of how i customized my colors:

You like?? =P

You could always buy a Mac. Mac OS X is built with BSD components, so it wouldn’t be too much of a stretch to assert you were running iTunes on BSD ;-)

But yeah, that’s a REALLY GOOD idea! The only thing is I can’t afford a Mac any time soon :( But maybe someday!! I have been wanting a laptop for the longest time and i still don’t own one.. WTH?? I guess i’ll just have to keep using crappy windows for now…
