Finally updated to 1.4.1 :)

Wednesday, November 28th, 2007

Hello everyone!

So i finally installed 1.4.1 on my computer!! i went from 1.3.5 to 1.4.1! Overall it was a very successful update it only took about less than 10 min to remove the old version and install the new one, there were some minor problems i had at the beginning but we already fixed them and I’m all set and ready to rock this sh*t haha…. even though we fixed the problems on my computer i’d still recommend that if you’re having any problems you should report them at http://trac.pcbsd.org/ so the developers are aware of whats going on and they can fix them before the next update comes out. I’m still sad that we don’t have Flash 9 :( but i think i can live with out it for now since we do have Flash 7 :) We hope to get Flash 9 soon though!

Tuesday, November 20th, 2007

Hey everyone!

Just wanted to show you guys some pictures from MeetBSD in Poland

This is Beastie! The sickest Daemon ever…

Here’s Denise with her sexy costume, Marketing Director of iXsystems!

Mr. Davis posing for the camera

Matt and his Kissy face haha

This is how we do it, party like a ROCKSTAR !!!

I heard this thing was evil lol

So i guess the way it works is everyone holds the metal handle, when a button blinks evil music plays then when the button changes color, you press the button on the handle and the last person to do that gets shocked hahaha

Alright this is all for now, if you wanna see more pictures from the conference, you can go to this website:

Here are some of the bugs that got fixed and changes that were made:

* Upgrades Compiz 0.5.2 to Compiz-Fusion 0.6.0
* Switches from HPIJS to HPLIP for better printer / scanner support.
* Adds extra screen savers with X-Screensaver package
* Updates NVIDIA drivers to latest releases from NVIDIA.
* Updates GTK / Pango libraries
* Fixes some misc bugs with PBI Removal tool, and Network manager.
